Application Process
Wash
Our ceramic coating process starts with a in-depth hand wash. This will remove any dirt and contaminants from the gelcoat. If necessary, we will acid wash the bottom of the hull to remove the hard water line.
Lift + DISASSEMBLE
After washing, our team moves the boat from its trailer to rolling stands. With the boat off the trailer, we have access to ceramic coat the bottom of the hull.
To create working space in tight corners, any removable hardware such as the swim platform, snaps, and surf tabs will be taken off the boat.
Tape + Polish
To prevent staining from our paint correction process, we tape off any rubber or plastics around the boat.
Once the boat is taped off, our techs will use rotary and dual action polishers with a combination of compounds and polishes to bring the gelcoat to its full potential.
Prep + Coat
Before coating, we remove all oils, grease, and polymers from the paint with a surface prep spray.
After the boat is prepped, we move onto coating. The coating is applied with an applicator pad in small sections at a time. Once the coating has separated and bonded to the surface, we level it to a perfect finish with a microfiber towel.
